Every MCP server in the official registry, in one table
Toolroll snapshots the official Model Context Protocol Registry and keeps one row per server (its latest version): how to connect (remote URL or npm/PyPI package), whether a secret is needed, repository and publish dates. The registry API is paged and version-heavy; Toolroll is one 4 MB file.
Active hosted (remote) servers that need no secret, most recently updated first (snapshot 24 Sep 2026 07:03 UTC)
| Server | Title | Connect | Key needed | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| com.bird/mcp | Bird | streamable-http | no | Email, SMS, WhatsApp and voice, one API |
| com.akiflow/akiflow | Akiflow | streamable-http | no | Tasks, calendars and scheduling |

Why teams pick Toolroll
- Latest version only: servers that re-publish hundreds of versions appear once.
- Key-needed and transport flags are already worked out, so "hosted servers that need no secret" is one filter.
- Free, versus paying per server to scrape the same registry.
- Pair it with Pingroll to see which of these servers actually answered a handshake.
Try it in one call
import pandas as pd
df = pd.read_parquet('https://huggingface.co/datasets/CyberMax-tools/toolroll-mcp-registry-snapshot/resolve/main/data/servers.parquet')
print(df.head())FAQ
How many MCP servers are there?
The official registry snapshot of 24 Sep 2026 had 35,403 servers (35,028 active): 21,428 reachable as a hosted remote and 14,903 installable packages (npm 9,624, PyPI 3,870).
Why not an Apify registry scraper?
Scrapers charge per server and return what the API returns. Toolroll is free, deduplicated to the latest version, with key-needed and transport flags added.
Why not browse Glama or Smithery?
Directories are good for browsing one server at a time. Toolroll is the raw official registry as data you can filter, count and join.
Does it say whether a server works?
No; it lists what is registered. Pingroll, its sister dataset, records a daily handshake for every remote server.
Do I have to pay to use it?
No. The data keeps its open licence for everyone, at work too. The $49/year licence is for companies that want an invoice, a certificate in their name, named support and service levels; it covers every CyberMax dataset.
