Using our free datasets at work? Get the paperwork procurement asks for
Every CyberMax dataset on Hugging Face and Kaggle is free and keeps its open licence for everyone; you do not need to pay to use it. Companies that put the data into production often need more than a licence line in a README: an invoice, a certificate in the company's name for procurement, someone to email when a field changes, and a promise that the data stays fresh. The Dataset Commercial License + Support is that, for every CyberMax dataset, in one yearly plan.

Plans in the Dataset Commercial License + Support (version 1.0, effective 1 Oct 2026)
| Plan | Who it covers | Price | Support first reply |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small | one company with up to 10 people (employees and contractors) | $49 a year | 2 business days |
| Business | one company with up to 250 people | $199 a year | 2 business days |
| Enterprise | one company of any size, affiliates included | $499 a year | 1 business day |

Why teams pick CyberMax Dataset License
- One licence covers every public CyberMax dataset on Hugging Face and Kaggle, including new datasets and versions released during your term.
- An invoice for every payment and a PDF licence certificate with your company name, plan, term and licence ID.
- Named email support with a first reply in 2 business days (1 on Enterprise), 30 days' notice before breaking changes, and files sent directly if Hugging Face and Kaggle are both down for more than 24 hours.
- Nothing is gated: the free files and their open licences stay exactly as they are.
How it works
- Find the dataset you use on the free data site or on Hugging Face (CyberMax-tools).
- Pick the plan for your company's size and pay; enter the licensee company name at checkout.
- Your licence page shows the licence ID and creates the PDF certificate; invoices are in the billing portal.
- Email support with your licence ID whenever you have a question about the data.
FAQ
Do I need this to use the data?
No. Each dataset keeps its open licence (CC0, CC BY 4.0 or the source terms named in its card), and you can use it under those terms for free. The licence is for companies that need an invoice, a certificate, support and service commitments.
Why not buy from a data vendor like zip-codes.com or sec-api.io?
If you need their specific data, buy it: a single zip-codes.com database is $49.95 to $189.95 a year, and sec-api.io's business licence is $199/month. If you already use CyberMax data, one licence from $49/year covers all of it with support.
Does it cover the source data?
It licenses the parts CyberMax created (compilation, joins, derived fields, scores, documentation). Third-party source data keeps its own terms, listed in each dataset card.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel renewal in the billing portal; copies you made during the term stay licensed.
