Lotmoor by CyberMax

Crypto gain and loss on every sale, in minutes

Import your trades or type them in. Lotmoor matches each sale to the coins you bought with FIFO, LIFO or HIFO, splits short and long term, adds staking income and shows what you still hold. Private: it runs in your browser. Free for 50 transactions.

1. Your transactions

Works with Coinbase's transaction export and most "date, type, asset, amount, price, fee" CSVs. Types: buy, sell, income (staking, airdrops), spend, gift-in, transfer.

Questions

What do FIFO, LIFO and HIFO mean?

They decide which earlier purchase a sale "uses up". FIFO takes the oldest coins first, LIFO the newest, HIFO the most expensive. The method changes your gain, and whether it is short or long term. Lotmoor shows all three side by side for the year; which ones you may use depends on your country's rules.

How is short vs long term decided?

Long term means the coins were held more than one year (sold after the first anniversary of the purchase); otherwise short term. That is the US rule; other countries differ.

Why not Koinly, CoinLedger or CoinTracker?

They sync your exchanges and produce filing-ready reports, priced per tax year by transaction count: Koinly from $49 for 100 transactions, CoinLedger $49 for 100, CoinTracker $59 for 100 (checked 31 Oct 2026). If you have hundreds of DeFi transactions across many wallets, use one of them. If you have a few exchange accounts and want the numbers fast and privately, Lotmoor is free up to 50 transactions and $29 for 12 months with no limit.

What about converts and transfers?

A convert (one coin straight into another) is a sale of the first coin and a buy of the second at the same USD value: add it as two rows. A transfer between your own wallets is not a sale and is ignored.

Is my data private?

Yes. Everything stays in this browser. Nothing is uploaded, and Lotmoor never asks for exchange keys, addresses or seed phrases.
