HOA and apartment pools: test records the board and the inspector can read
Community pools are often tested by a contractor or a volunteer, and the board is responsible for the records. Lanewren gives the board one file with every test and a monthly report.
How community associations teams use Lanewren
- Enter the pool and spa with your county's limits.
- Ask the contractor or staff to use the printable daily sheets, or type into the shared file.
- At month end, review days short and out-of-range readings with the contractor.
- Keep the signed monthly reports for the season; include closure logs if the pool was closed.
The licence covers one facility. A community with several pools at one property uses one copy for up to 8 pools and spas.

Example file: a made-up hotel with a pool, a spa and a wading pool, July 2026
| Pool / spa | Readings | Days short | Out of range | In range |

| Spa | 122 | 1 | 1 | 99.2% |
| Wading pool | 90 | 1 | 1 | 98.9% |

FAQ
Is the dosing calculator exact?
It estimates the product needed to raise free chlorine by the ppm you enter (liquid, cal-hypo, dichlor, trichlor); always follow the product label and your operator's judgement.
Why not just keep the contractor's paper sheets?
Paper sheets don't total the month or flag missed tests; the board sees problems only after an inspection.
