What is Skyline Flight Circuit?
Skyline Flight Circuit is a free flying car racing game on Roblox. You drive your own hover car through an open neon city, then lift off and fly it through 12 glowing gate rings for your best lap. Street race other players, invite friends and fly a new Daily Circuit every day.
How to play the Roblox flying car game
You spawn on foot on the garage deck, next to your own hover car parked in your own bay. Walk up to it and get in: press F on a keyboard, tap DRIVE on a phone or tablet, or press X on a controller.
Fly through the START ring and the clock starts. Fly the 12 gates in order; the next one pulses brighter so you always know where to go, and every gate shows a split against your best lap. The finish sits right in front of the start, so your next lap begins by itself. A lap takes about 20 to 30 seconds at cruise speed.
There are no crashes. Clip a tower and the car bounces off and slides along it, so you lose time, not the run. Get out anywhere, even high in the air: the car lands and parks right beside you. Walk off and an arrow at the bottom of the screen points to it, with CALL CAR to fly it back to you. If it ever flies off the map, it is towed back to your bay.
Controls on PC, phone, tablet and controller
The hint near the top of the screen shows the controls for the device you are using. As of version 3.0 (the car now drives on roads and flies) they are:
- PC: on the road W is gas, S brakes then reverses, A and D steer, Shift drifts, E boosts, H honks and Q (or Space) lifts off to fly. In the air Space climbs, Shift dives and Q lands. F gets in or out. Arrow keys work too.
- Phone and tablet: tap DRIVE (bottom right, next to your car) to get in. One stick on the left steers (and climbs or dives in the air). Hold GAS on the right to go, and slide your thumb up on GAS to boost while you keep accelerating; the boost meter sits just above it. BRAKE slows you and reverses; brake while steering hard to drift. Tap FLY above BRAKE to lift off and LAND to come back down. HORN sits left of BRAKE, EXIT in the top-right corner.
- Controller: X to get in (and to fly or land while driving), left stick to steer (and climb or dive in the air), RT for gas, LT to brake, B to drift, A to boost, R3 to honk, Y to get out.
Tips to set a fast lap
Times are won on smooth lines, not top speed alone.
- Fly smooth curves: each gate faces along the racing line, so carry a curve through it instead of aiming straight at one gate after another.
- Change height early. The gates weave up and down, so start climbing or diving one gate ahead.
- Boost on the straights (slide up on GAS on a phone, E on PC, A on a controller). The boost meter empties in a few seconds and refills while you are not boosting, so save it for the long legs.
- Stay off the towers. A bump keeps only about half your speed.
- Watch the splits. A minus number means you are ahead of your best lap at that gate.
- You do the flying: the car goes where you steer and only moves while you hold GAS. New to flying? Switch on Auto-gas (holds the gas for you) or Beginner assist (a gentle pull toward the next gate and its height, and a U-turn if you miss a ring) in MENU. Both are off unless you turn them on.
The Daily Circuit
Every day the Daily Circuit flies the main loop in reverse, with each gate moved by that day's offsets. It is the same course for every player and every server, changes at midnight UTC, and has its own board for today's fastest times. Finishing it pays bonus coins.
Leaderboards, coins and the daily login calendar
Boards on the garage deck show the circuit all-time, the circuit today, the Daily Circuit today and the top pilots this week. Every finished lap pays coins, with a bonus for a new personal best, and a 7-day login calendar adds coins for coming back (miss a day and a one-day grace keeps your streak).
What is free, and what the Neon Garage pass adds
Everything you need to play is free: the circuit, the Daily Circuit, the leaderboards, the login calendar and the coins you earn by flying, which buy car paints and light trails in the garage.
Two optional purchases exist. The Neon Garage game pass (149 Robux) unlocks every paint and the Aurora light trail. The 500 Coins pack (49 Robux) adds coins for the garage. Both are cosmetic only: every car flies exactly the same, and there are no loot boxes or timers.
Play with friends
Tap INVITE to send a game invite. Friends can hop in your car with the Ride along prompt while you drive (only the owner drives), and everyone on the server races for the same leaderboards. A server holds up to 50 players.
What's new in 3.1: daily goals, friends and a portal
Version 3.1 (24 Oct 2026) gives you a reason to come back and to bring friends.
Daily goals: three goals a day (fly laps, the Daily Circuit, a new best, a street race and more), each paying coins when you claim it, with a bonus and a growing streak for finishing all three.
Invite friends from MENU > INVITE A FRIEND: a friend who joins from your invite gets bonus coins, and you get coins for each friend who is new to the game. Playing in the same server as a Roblox friend pays a squad bonus too.
A portal arch beside the parking bays (and the MORE tab) takes you to Hatchlume, our creature catching game, after asking first. There are new badges and an in-world WHAT'S NEW board as well.
