Is Cratefern free?
Yes. The dated moving checklist, up to 20 boxes with QR labels (4 per letter page), contents search and printing are free with no account. Pro is $4.99 once for unlimited boxes, more label sizes, a CSV inventory and backups.
What does the QR code on a box do?
It holds the box number, room and contents list as plain text. Scan it with a phone camera or any QR reader to see what's inside without opening the box. It needs no internet, no app account and no website.
Which label sheets does it print on?
Free prints 4 labels per US letter page on plain paper; tape them on. Pro adds 6 per page sized for Avery 5164 / 8164 shipping labels (3 1/3 × 4 in) and 2 big labels per page. Print at 100% scale (no "fit to page").
How does the checklist know the dates?
Set your moving day and each of the 29 tasks gets its date, from 8 weeks before to 2 weeks after. Tick them off, add your own, and print it.
