Know the day a tariff on your products changes
List your HTS codes and where the goods come from. Dutyfinch Watch reads every new US tariff schedule revision, the Section 301 China lists and exclusions, and the Federal Register, and tells you what changed: old rate, new rate, effective date and the official source. Free for 3 codes, no sign-up. Pro watches 100 codes daily for $29 a month.

Now: Four-year review +100%; List 3 +25%
Effective: 2026-11-10

On a $40,000 China shipment the estimated duty (Dutyfinch's calculator) goes from $10,000 to $40,000. Information only; confirm with a licensed customs broker.

One line per product: the HTS code, then the country of origin, the yearly customs value (for the duty digest) and a note. Example: 8516.60.40 CN $40000 Air fryers. Broker lists can start a line with a client folder: #Acme 6109.10.00 VN $90000 T-shirts.

What it watches, and what it doesn't
Every code on your list is compared with the current US tariff data each check: the general, special (free trade agreement) and column 2 rates in each new USITC HTS revision; the Section 301 China lists, their extra rates and start dates, and the product exclusions with their end dates; the US–China 2026 reduction list; and every Federal Register document that names the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (USTR, USITC, CBP, Commerce and presidential proclamations), matched to the chapters or headings it names. Alerts only cover what matters for each origin: Section 301 changes for goods from China, the special rate for origins in that agreement, column 2 for Cuba, North Korea, Russia and Belarus.
It does not track Section 232, IEEPA, antidumping or countervailing duties, quotas or fees as rates (their Federal Register notices still reach you). It does not classify your products: the product search suggests codes, and the classification is yours or your broker's. Information only; confirm with a licensed customs broker.
Questions
Where do the alerts come from?
From official US sources only: the USITC Harmonized Tariff Schedule (every revision), the Chapter 99 notes that set the Section 301 China lists and exclusions, and the Federal Register. Each alert links to the official page and names the HTS revision it comes from.
Is this customs advice?
No. Dutyfinch Watch is information only, and the duty digest is an estimate from the HTS rate plus Section 301. Confirm classification and duty with a licensed customs broker before you act.
Why not GingerControl, SkuWatch or Tariffs API?
They are good tools at higher prices or with a narrower fit (published prices, checked 31 Oct 2026): GingerControl's GingerLite plan, which includes its Compliance Radar, is $150 a month; SkuWatch Pro is $49 a month and works inside Shopify; Tariffs API Starter is $99 a month for 25 saved codes. Dutyfinch Watch Pro is $29 a month for 100 codes, needs no store or integration, and every alert shows the old and the new value. Rivals such as TariffDesk also cover Section 232 and refunds; Dutyfinch Watch sticks to the HTS, Section 301 and the Federal Register.
How fast do alerts arrive?
Pro and Broker codes are checked daily, free codes weekly. New HTS revisions reach the data the day our tariff watch sees them on the USITC site; Federal Register documents are indexed daily.
What is the monthly duty-exposure digest?
On paid plans, once a month you get the estimated duty on your basket (the yearly value you enter per code) at today's rates and at the rates of a month ago, line by line. It uses the same calculator as the Dutyfinch duty API: the HTS general rate plus Section 301 for goods from China.
Do I need an account or an email address?
No. A saved list has a private link instead. Alerts go to Telegram, your browser or a feed. Keep the link safe: anyone with it can edit the list.
Can I use it from code or an AI agent?
Yes: the JSON feed of your list works in any script. For lookups, duty estimates and webhooks per code, use the Dutyfinch tariff API and MCP server.
How do I cancel?
Open your list and press "Billing and cancel" (Stripe's billing page). The plan stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then the list goes back to free: the first 3 codes keep being watched and nothing is deleted.
