Use Awardtide Recompete Radar MCP with Cursor

Expiring US federal contracts MCP: recompete search by NAICS/agency. Free first 10; $29/mo.

Remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP), nothing to install. Free: Count, total value and first 10 matches free · Paid: Radar Pro $29/mo: every row, saved filters, weekly alerts, CSV

Set it up

  1. Open or create the mcp.json file (global or per project).
  2. Add the server under "mcpServers" as shown and save.
  3. Open Cursor's settings, find the MCP section and check that the server is enabled and lists its tools.
  4. Ask the agent a question the tools can answer and approve the tool call.

Add to ~/.cursor/mcp.json:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "awardtide": {
      "url": "https://awardtide.cybermaxtools.com/mcp?via=use-with-cursor"
    }
  }
}

With a paid key:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "awardtide": {
      "url": "https://awardtide.cybermaxtools.com/mcp?via=use-with-cursor",
      "headers": {
        "x-licence": "${env:CYBERMAX_API_KEY}"
      }
    }
  }
}

Cursor fills ${env:CYBERMAX_API_KEY} from your environment, so the key never sits in the file.
