Haulapse: physics balance game online
Haulapse is a free 3D physics balance game you play in your browser. You are Dale, a removals man with more confidence than skill, running down a suburban street at sunset with a hand truck and a stack of other people's things: boxes marked FRAGILE, a microwave, a garden gnome, an aquarium with the fish still in it, a grandfather clock, a fridge full of soup and an upright piano. The only control is left and right. Moving the hand truck steers around fire hydrants, wheelie bins, sandwich boards and a sleeping dog, but every move also tips the tower the other way, so dodging and balancing fight each other. Customers lob one more item onto the stack every 60 to 100 metres, the tower gets taller and Dale's grip gets weaker. Cracks in the pavement, gusts of wind and pigeons all have opinions. When it comes down, it comes down in slow motion, the heaviest thing lands on Dale, and you get an incident report with the photo, the cause and a customer review to share. One Daily Street for everyone, with a leaderboard that re-plays every posted run on the server, challenge links that put a chalk outline where your friend fell, and a live reaction cam of Dale's face the whole time. No download, no sign-up, no ads, and it works offline once loaded.
How to play Haulapse
- Press HAUL IT, or just press left or right. Dale starts running on his own.
- Hold the left or right side of the screen (or the arrow keys, or A and D) to move the hand truck sideways.
- When the stack leans, move toward the lean to push the base back under it. The tilt gauge shows how close you are to losing it.
- Steer around hydrants, bins, signs, cones, scooters and the dog. A collision knocks the tower hard.
- Every pickup makes the stack taller and harder to hold. Keep going as far as you can, then share the incident report or send a challenge link.
Controls
Phone and tablet: Hold your thumb on the left or right half of the screen to move the hand truck that way; let go to stop. The round arrows at the bottom show where to press. The tilt gauge sits between your thumbs. After a collapse, tap AGAIN to restart instantly. Portrait and landscape both work.
Desktop, laptop and Chromebook: Left and right arrow keys, or A and D, move the hand truck. Space or Enter restarts after a collapse. M mutes the sound.
Haulapse tips and strategy
- Small taps beat long holds: moving sideways tips the stack the other way, so over-steering is the most common way to lose it.
- Push toward the lean early. Once the needle is in the red, only a quick, committed move saves it (a clutch save is worth 60 points).
- Dodge with room to spare: a near miss is worth 20 points, a collision usually costs the whole stack.
- Watch for blowing leaves: a gust pushes the stack sideways for a few seconds, so lean into it.
- Heavy items (fridge, piano, clock) weaken Dale's grip the most. Expect the stack to feel looser after each one.
- The Daily Street is the same for everyone all day. Play it a few times: you learn where the obstacles are.
Game modes
- Daily Street: the same street for everyone today, with a replay-checked leaderboard.
- Practice: a new random street every run (not posted to the board).
- Challenge a friend: a link with your street and your score; your friend sees a chalk outline where you fell.
- Garage: outfits, hats and hand trucks bought with coins you earn by playing (1 coin per 8 points).
Haulapse is free: every mode, the daily leaderboard, challenge links and every cosmetic in the Garage (bought with coins you earn while playing). No ads, no sign-up and nothing to buy.
Haulapse FAQ
Is Haulapse free?
Yes. Every mode, the daily leaderboard, challenge links and all outfits, hats and hand trucks are free, with no ads and no sign-up. Cosmetics unlock with coins you earn while playing.
How do you play Haulapse?
Hold left or right to move Dale's hand truck. It steers around obstacles and also tips the stack the other way, so you balance and dodge with the same two buttons. Push toward the lean to save a falling stack.
Why does the stack keep falling?
Every move sideways tips it the other way, and every pickup makes it taller and Dale's grip weaker. Use short taps, push toward the lean before the needle reaches the red, and avoid collisions.
Can I play with friends?
After any run, send a challenge link: your friend plays the same street, sees your chalk outline where you fell and tries to beat your score. Everyone also gets the same Daily Street with a shared leaderboard.
Is the leaderboard fair?
Every posted score is checked: the server re-plays your run from your inputs with the game's own simulation and only accepts the score it gets itself.
Does Haulapse work on phones and Chromebooks?
Yes. It runs in any modern browser on phones, tablets, Chromebooks and PCs, with touch or keyboard, and lowers the graphics detail by itself on slower devices to stay smooth.
Is Haulapse unblocked?
Haulapse is an HTML5 game on cybermaxtools.com with no download or plug-in. Once loaded it also works offline. Whether a school or work network allows it depends on that network's filters.
