Whirlane: one-tap game online free
Whirlane is a free one-tap reflex game for your browser. Your spark races around two orbits; tap to hop to the other one and dodge the blades. 30 levels each ask you to pass a set number of blades, adding twin blades, gold rush arcs, blades that jump orbit, pulsing blades and night orbits, with a no-shield challenge level every 10. Earn up to 3 stars by clearing a level without a hit, grab gems for your score, play the same daily course as everyone else, keep a streak and send a friend a link to beat your score.
How to play Whirlane
- Your spark circles on one of two orbits.
- Tap (or Space) to hop to the other orbit.
- Blades sit on one orbit or the other: hop away before you reach one.
- Mid-hop you touch both orbits, so hop early.
- In a level, pass the goal number of blades to clear it; no hits means 3 stars, and gems add to your score.
- In the daily, each blade you pass is a point; post your best to today's leaderboard.

Whirlane tips and strategy
- Hop early: the hop takes time and you touch both orbits on the way.
- Read two blades ahead as the speed rises.
- Don't mash: a double hop puts you right back where you started.
- Practice mode is the fastest way to learn the late-game speed.
Game modes
- 30 levels: twin blades, gold rush arcs, blades that jump orbit, pulse blades and night orbits, plus a no-shield challenge level every 10. Levels 1-20 are free.
- Daily course, the same for everyone, with a streak and a public leaderboard (three initials).
- Beat-my-score links: send a friend the same level or daily with your score.
- Practice: random courses.

Is Whirlane free?
Yes. The daily course, the leaderboard, practice and levels 1-20 are free.
How many levels are there?
30, with a new twist about every 5 levels and a challenge level every 10. Levels 21-30 come with the full game ($2.99 once) or the Fun Pass; a level you have opened stays open.
How do stars work?
Clear a level with no hits for 3 stars, one hit for 2, two hits for 1. Normal levels give you two shields; challenge levels give you none.
How does the leaderboard work?
Your best daily score can be posted with three initials; scores are replayed on our server so they are fair.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes, tap to hop. Keyboard and mouse work on PC; R restarts, M mutes.
Does it need a download?
No, it runs in the browser and can be installed for offline play.
Why do I crash mid-hop?
During a hop the spark touches both orbits, so a blade on either orbit hits you. Hop earlier.
