For: Freight brokers and 3PLs, shippers and procurement teams, factoring, insurance and fuel-card teams, and TMS builders and AI agents.

Send up to 25 USDOT or MC/MX/FF numbers in one call. Each carrier comes back with a verdict (clear, review, do_not_use), a 0-100 risk score and the flags that applied, plus the evidence from FMCSA open data: USDOT status and age, operating authority, liability insurance on file vs required, cargo insurance and bond, out-of-service orders, and 24-month inspections and crashes next to the national rates. FAQ

Where does the data come from?

FMCSA open data on data.transportation.gov: the Company Census File, licensing and insurance, out-of-service orders, inspections and crashes. Answers are cached for up to 6 hours.

Is the verdict an FMCSA safety rating?

No. It is a transparent rule set on public FMCSA records, not an FMCSA safety rating and not a guarantee. Not affiliated with or endorsed by FMCSA or USDOT.

Can it watch my carriers?

Yes: /api/alerts returns FMCSA events for a carrier list (OOS orders, suspension notices, authority changes, insurance cancellations), and /api/new-carriers lists new USDOT registrations.

Why not the free FMCSA QCMobile API?

It is free but needs a Login.gov account and web key, takes one carrier per request and returns raw fields; Haulroll batches 25 and adds the verdict.

Does it return contact details?

No. Company facts only; phone, email, officer names and street addresses are never requested.
