Problem: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2020-2026 AA Series Aerial Device, 2021-2026 AN Series Aerial Device, 2023-2026 AM Series Aerial Device, and 2024-2026 Digger Derrick, and 2024-2025 A-Class vehicles. The turntable mounted platform access step may have been improperly welded between the step tube and mounting plate, and allow the step to separate from the vehicle.

Risk: A step that separates or becomes unstable while in use, increases the risk of a fall or injury.

Free fix: Altec will replace the steps, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 27, 2026. Owners may contact Altec's customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3374.

Problem: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2022-2025 AT Series, 2021-2025 AN Series Aerial Device, 2020-2026 TA Series Aerial Device, 2021 L Series Aerial Device, 2021 LR Series Aerial Device, 2023-2025 AM Series Aerial Device, and 2024-2025 AA Series Aerial Device vehicles. The ground level emergency stop (E-stop) may not stop hydraulic functions of the machine when the machine is in ePTO mode.

Risk: Hydraulic functions that do not immediately stop when the ground level E-stop is pressed, increase the risk of injury.

Free fix: Altec will inspect the units and test to verify the E-stop function. If the wiring is found to be incorrect, it will be updated, free of charge. Letters informing owners of the safety risk were mailed on July 8, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3322.

Electrical System › Wiring › Power Distribution Module/Ipdm (26V071000, 2026-02-06)

Problem: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2021-2025 Digger Derrick and 2021-2025 AM Series Aerial Device vehicles. The chassis engine may start unintentionally due to a missing diode in the Altec power distribution module.

Risk: An engine that starts unexpectedly increases the risk of injury to anyone near the engine compartment during maintenance operations.

Free fix: Altec will provide instructions to inspect the power distribution module for a diode, and provide a repair kit as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 27, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3281.
