A workout log that tells you exactly what to lift next time
Log each set (exercise, reps, weight) and Repwren fills in the muscle group, volume, estimated 1-rep max and a PR flag. The Program tab holds up to 20 lifts with sets x target reps and your increment: hit every set's target and it tells you to add the increment next time; miss and it says repeat. Weekly volume by muscle group, bodyweight and measurements, kg or lb.

Why teams pick Repwren
- One clear progression rule you control: hit the target reps on every set and add your increment; miss and repeat.
- PRs and estimated 1-rep max are flagged on every set automatically.
- Weekly volume per muscle group for 16 weeks, so you can see if a body part is under-trained.
- One-time $9, no subscription, history in your own file; log sets from the Google Sheets phone app.
- Honest limit: no rest timer, exercise videos or Apple Watch app; it does not prescribe a program.
How it works
- Pick kg or lb and your start date on Settings.
- Set your lifts on Program: sets, target reps and increment (for example 3 x 5, +2.5 kg).
- Log each set on the Log tab; before the next session, read Next time on Program.
FAQ
Why not Hevy or Strong?
Both are polished phone apps with timers and exercise libraries; their Pro tiers cost $23.99-$29.99 a year or more. Repwren is $9 once and keeps the progression rule and the data in a spreadsheet you can change.
Does it work in Google Sheets?
Yes: upload the .xlsx to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets; the phone app works for logging sets.
How is the 1-rep max estimated?
With the Epley formula, weight x (1 + reps / 30), from each set; it is an estimate, best for sets of 1-10 reps, not a tested max.
Is it a training program?
It's a tracker with a simple progression rule you control; it doesn't prescribe exercises or loads, and it isn't medical advice.
