A free daily geography game on real numbers: which US town costs more?
Two US towns, one question, tap the higher one. Townduel serves ten duels a day on home prices, rent, household income, population and median age, using US Census ACS 5-year estimates for 2,400 places across all 50 states and DC. The answer shows the real numbers and how far apart they are. The first duels are easy and the last are within 10%. A free bonus round follows the daily, and 42 levels in seven themed packs train your sense of the map.

FAQ
Why not GeoGuessr?
GeoGuessr is the street-view map game, with Pro at $6.99 a month. Townduel is a different, faster daily game about what US places cost and who lives there, free every day.
Where do the numbers come from?
US Census Bureau ACS 2020-2024 5-year estimates (via our public ZIP code dataset). Values above the Census top codes show with a plus sign, for example 2,000,000+ for home value.
Is it only the US?
Yes, 2,400 places across 50 states and DC.
Can I challenge a friend?
Yes, the share link opens the same round with your score as the target.
Limits?
Figures are survey estimates for one ZIP per city, not live market prices.
