How to check whether a company is hiring right now, from its domain
Short answer
Most companies post jobs on a public applicant tracking system (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable or SmartRecruiters) linked from their careers page. Find that board, count open roles and roles opened in the last 7 and 30 days, and break them down by function and seniority: a jump in new roles is the hiring signal.
- Start from the company's domain (for example vercel.com).
- Find its careers link and the job board behind it.
- Count open roles, and roles posted in the last 7 and 30 days.
- Group by function (engineering, sales) and seniority.
- Re-check weekly; a big rise in new roles is the spike.
