How to get a list of MCP servers from the official MCP Registry

Updated 2026-11-03 · Data and API builders · by CyberMax

Short answer

The official MCP Registry lists published MCP servers. The Toolroll dataset snapshots it into a "servers" table, and Pingroll probes remote servers for uptime. Load both, filter to remote servers and join the latest probe to see which ones answer.

  1. pip install datasets
  2. Load "toolroll-mcp-registry-snapshot" (servers).
  3. Load "pingroll-mcp-server-uptime" (probes) for uptime.
  4. Filter to remote (HTTP) servers and join on the server name.
