Gym staff schedule template: 5 am opens, class instructors and front desk
Gyms open before dawn and get busiest after work, with short instructor shifts in between. The schedule has to cover the desk from open to close and put coaches on the class peaks. Here is a studio's week.
What matters for gyms and fitness studios
Someone opens at 5
The opener's shift sets the earliest coverage of the day; coverage by hour shows the first hour someone is in the building.
Short class shifts add up
An instructor teaching a 6 am and a 6 pm class has two short shifts on one day. Enter both; Rotasprig adds them and warns if rest between days gets short.
Evening peak
Put a second person on the desk or floor across the 17:00–20:00 peak; coverage by hour shows whether you did.
