Catering menu template: packages priced per person

A catering menu sells packages, not plates: price per person, a minimum guest count, platters for drop-off and add-ons. Clients read it to build a quote, so the per-person price and the dietary tags must be clear. Paste the list below into Menumoor and it lays it out.

What matters for caterers

Say "per person" in the section note

Put "Priced per person, minimum 20 guests" as the section note so every price under it reads the same way.

Two price columns for drop-off and full service

Set the section's column labels (for example "Drop-off" and "Served") and give each package both prices.

Tag dietary options

Mark vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free items with V, VG and GF so clients can plan for guests with restrictions.

Worked example

Paste this list into Menumoor's paste box:

# Packages
Garden lunch - sandwiches, two salads, fruit, cookies (V) - $18 / $26
Taco bar - two proteins, rice, beans, salsas, tortillas (GF) - $22 / $31
Signature dinner - two mains, three sides, bread, dessert - $36 / $49
# Platters
Seasonal fruit platter, serves 20 (VG, GF) - $85
Mezze platter, serves 20 (V) - $110
# Add-ons
Coffee and tea service - $3.50
Cake cutting service - $2

This is how Menumoor reads it (sections, descriptions, tags, badges and both price columns):

Can I keep a separate menu for weddings?

The free version keeps one saved menu; unlimited menus are Pro.
