Clearbit Autocomplete API alternative: same JSON shape, working logos
Clearbit's free Autocomplete endpoint still answers, but its logo field has been null since 9 Sep 2025, and logo.clearbit.com was switched off on 1 Dec 2025. Afterwren's /v1/companies/suggest returns the same [{name, domain, logo}] array with logos that load, so a company field in your sign-up form can keep working after a one-line host change. The same key covers company logos and public profiles from a domain, geocoding, book search and Wikipedia search.

What changed at Clearbit?
After the HubSpot acquisition the free Logo API (logo.clearbit.com) was sunset on 1 Dec 2025, and the free Autocomplete endpoint has returned logo: null since 9 Sep 2025. Afterwren is not affiliated with Clearbit or HubSpot.
How do I switch?
Point your autocomplete request at https://afterwren.cybermaxtools.com/v1/companies/suggest?query=... and keep your parser: the response is the same array of name, domain and logo.
Is it the same data as Clearbit?
No. Afterwren is built on Wikidata, each company's public homepage and public DNS, so coverage and ranking differ. Try your own company names on the free tier first.
What does a call cost?
Every lookup is one call: 100 a day free, then $1.00 per 1,000 on the $5 pack or $0.76 per 1,000 on Builder.
Can AI agents use it?
Yes, the MCP server is at /mcp on the API host, and agents can also pay per call with x402.
